This is what happens when six musicians get together to find out what happens when they are asked to play sounds together . No agenda and no reason .In other words just for the fun of it .
Its just a bash – an attempt at writing something that’s fun to play and doesn’t get in the way – also a call for young composers to be themselves, don’t give in to pompous ideas( nobody gives a shit anymore) and to get away from Greek myths – in other words – explore yourself.
Explore yourself was commissioned by the Brighton Festival and is written for the New Music Players .
