Slowbaby
The title Slowbaby comes from a larger piece written for the London based amplified ensemble Icebreaker. The Baby Bear’s Bed , a long and violent affair , is nothing at all alike however to this gentle yet nervous guitar duo. Material from the bigger piece included stuff called as an aide memoir – Fast Baby, Jerky Baby, Fifths Baby and Slow Baby – Slowbaby comes unsurprisingly from the last one.
It was written for Allan Neave and Simon Dinnagen and was premiered by them at Dundee University Chaplaincy Centre and simultaneously netcast live on the internet(Somebody wrote in from Alaska to say they liked it ) – Cheers.
